BIOGRAPHY OF JIM CARREY

James Eugene Carrey (the full name of Jim Carrey) was born on January 17 1962 in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Jim Carrey found his calling at an early age, performing in front of classmates in elementary school, making everybody laugh. At the age of 15 he bagan performing ay Yuk Yuk´s, a famous Toronto comedy club, and continued performing in clubs all over Canada until the age of 19. He was not been able to finish high-school because his family wa in hard economics time. So Jim packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles, California. Soon after becoming a regular at Mitzi Shore´s Comedy Club he was put on tour by comedian Rodney Dangerfield. After this tour he made his first film, a television-movie called Introducing…Janet. This movie is also known as Rubbreface. His first movie that appeared in a movie-theatre was Finder´s Keepers, in the year 1984. After this role he had some other little parts. He also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola´s Peggy Sue Got Married. In 1994 the big break-through came with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Since that movie he is one of the most popular actors of the world. In 1999 he won a Golden Globe for his part in The Truman Show, and almost every year he wins a MTV Movie Award. For me is Jim Carrey the best actor and the fnniest actor. Jim is currently living in Brentwood, California. He has got three brothers and sisters and they listen to the names Pat, John and Rita. His father is called Percy and his mother Kathleen. He is married twice but it did not work out. His first wive was Melissa Wormer, a daughter came out of that marriage. His second wife was actress and Dumb And Dumber co-star Lauren Holly, this marriage did not hold very long. Now he is single and just working on some movie-projects.
